Rhino Head
The next thing I did is use screen wire and stitched it on using silver floral wire. I covered that with Elmer's wood putty. Finally I painted it first with gesso, then acrylic paint.

Tree Climbing Child
The parent is watching, but not preventing the child from climbing the tree. For me, this is positive, trusting, and a depiction of good parenting. You're there to help, but you allow the child to take some risks, explore, to have his or her own successes.
