Rhino Head

I started with chicken wire mesh and formed the Rhino head.

The next thing I did is use screen wire and stitched it on using silver floral wire.  I covered that with Elmer's wood putty.  Finally I painted it first with gesso, then acrylic paint.

Wire Tree out of floral wire

Mother holding child

Tree Climbing Child

The parent is watching, but not preventing the child from climbing the tree.  For me, this is positive, trusting, and a depiction of good parenting.  You're there to help, but you allow the child to take some risks, explore, to have his or her own successes.

Tree Number 1

Here are two views of the same wire sculpture tree.  The tree is  attached to a chunk of granite.  This item is for sale.  Contact me if you want more information on purchasing this item.

Heart in Hand

This is a wire sculpture of a hand using steel wire.  The heart is made to have cracks and wired together using a brass wire that looks like gold.  This item is for sale.  Contact me if you are interested.
