Collage of Tucker

I am donating this picture for an auction at an Edmond, OK no kill shelter for animals.  It is 24" by 36"  I would call this a collage, but it is mixed media I suppose.  It is made with junk mail, select paper, used postage stamps and acrylic paint.

Ruby

My therapist has this wonderful dog that sits in on her sessions with clients.  Ruby is a sort of therapist.  If you are upset she will come from under the table where she naps and will get close, let hrself be loved on, and once you are better she heads back under the table and resumes her naps.  She has a sense of time, so about 5 minutes before a session is over she seems to know, and out she comes to send you off with a little of her special love.  I painted this for my shrink, who shrinks my problems, as a way to say thanks for bringing Ruby in to the healing process.  I don’t prefer realism, but I made an exception in this case.
